What do you think of when you hear the work ‘Simplify’? Something about that word just says peace and freedom to me. When we simplify our lives we are giving ourselves peace of mind and freedom from stuff! I mean really – do we need more stuff? How can we cut back and learn how to start saving money?
Okay, so now that I have determined WHY I am debt, now I need to figure out HOW to get out of debt! I know I need to quit spending so that is what I am going to focus on today. How can I start saving my money every day?
Do you want to earn extra money just for blogging? It is easier than you think, but you really just can’t put up a blog and sit back and wait for the $$ to roll in. You need to have a plan of action and some guidance. But where do you find the guidance you need to figure out the best way to make money from your blog?
So we have all seen the spam emails and flashy banners that tell us that we can make tons of fast online money. Have you ever clicked on one of those? I have a couple of times (most of the time I am worried there is a virus hiding inside!). They are mostly ads that are encouraging you to part with your hard earned cash (and lots of it!) to learn how to make money. Hmm – I am a skeptic . . .
Okay, so I took a long, painful look at my finances. Where had I accumulated so much debt? Our home is almost paid for, I drive a modest car, I don’t dress in designer clothes. How did this happen? Where has all the money – and piece of mind – gone?
I don’t know about you, but when I think of the term Shopaholic I think of someone who is always going to fun little boutiques and spas. You know, REALLY spending a lot of money on themselves. They are dressed in designer duds and have a great handbag to match every outfit.
